Tokyo box collection

For the exhibition Food Works Maske was inspired by the containers used to store food in Norway and Japan. The result is boxes in opaque and transparent glass, put to­gether in different color com­binations. The lid is intended to have a serving function, and is therefore made in a large size.

Cathrine Maske set out with the ambition to make contain­ers for food, but also wanted to create objects that have a certain sculptural and deco­rative quality.

The Tokyo box collection はノルウ ェイと日本の食料貯蔵から発想を 得たガラス容器のシリーズです。
