Tokyo box collection
For the exhibition Food Works Maske was inspired by the containers used to store food in Norway and Japan. The result is boxes in opaque and transparent glass, put together in different color combinations. The lid is intended to have a serving function, and is therefore made in a large size.
Cathrine Maske set out with the ambition to make containers for food, but also wanted to create objects that have a certain sculptural and decorative quality.
